Cindy Sherman

Cindy Sherman is an American photographer born January 19, 1954 whom is also an film director known for her conceptual self-portraits. I am a fan of Sherman because she reminds me of me. Although I am not a photographer i admire the idea of dressing in clothes in which others may find out of the norm. whereas Sherman works in series. Her series usually insist of photographing herself in a range of costumes. Although Sherman does not consider her work feminist, there is usually controveresy with her work attacking the idea that she supports it. I do not agree, she is an artist with a mind and a hope towards change and for that i admire her style and unique attitude.
